*drumrolls please* Lavender has arrived!
Replacing millennial pink, lavender (aka lilac) is the chicest colour on the block, the fashion circuit and our mood-board!
The hue of the year!
Not just on apparels across the boutiques and fashion stores, lavender showed up (generously) at almost all the SS’18 designer’s runaway. From Valentino to Michael Kors, Tibi to Max Mara. The colour had everyone going gaga over it.
Understated-yet-regal!
Now, that’s a rare combination – but, lavender delivers precisely that. Given the fact that it’s a neutral colour, makes it a designer’s dream come true. This easy-to-pull-off shade of purple can be teamed up with pastels, for colour block statements, and with other shades of purple as well.
Plus, to add a little bit of zing, play around with textures and fun fabric, like faux fur, chiffon, or get a pant-suit tailored in lavender.
Leisure, at best!
Pantone’s colour for 2018 is Ultra-violet, and ‘glamleisure’ is the hottest fashion genre! So, designers took both these trends and introduced Lavender, as the breakthrough hue of the season.
For everyone, with glam!
For those who ain’t a big fan of the loud shade – ultra-violet, lavender is here to save the day! So, to stay bold, current and uber fashionable – lavender is the way forward.
Casual with sass
We urge you to go on and don lavender with sass, and in everything. Pair it with denim, wear it as a gorgeous floaty evening gown or go about your business in a lilac suit, the choices are umpteen.
And, while you fall in love with this hue, hold on, as we are on our very own lavender mission too,
Stay tuned, stay close. Something big and pretty coming your way!
