#12. Marlee Matlin
Marlee Matlin, one of the presenters at the 2021 Oscars, was one of the best-dressed celebs to walk the red carpet. She definitely turned heads in her jacquard-print Vivienne Westwood gown. The highlight of the look was the long split sleeves that touched the floors. Talk about sweeping us away.
#11. Celeste Waite
#10. Regina King
#9. Vanessa Kirby
#8. Trish Summerville
Costume designer Trish Summerville’s red-carpet look was a view worth remembering. With a ‘Go sleek with Black’ motto, she wore a black and grey gown with an asymmetrical pattern. Taking colour block to another level, it was the mix-matched accessories that added all the layers.
#7. H.E.R
In Dundas purple beaded jumpsuit with a long head-cover-cum-train, Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, better known as H.E.R., had a look that was comfy and glam at the same time! When Jasmine meets Rapunzel, this is the outfit to be! With purple round eyewear and chic diamond jewellery, she sizzled her way across Oscars with all the grace and panache of a princess.
#6. Amanda Seyfried
Make way for red Swan ’cause Amanda Seyfried is here! Decked up in an elegant Giorgio Armani strapless tulle ball gown, Amanda! With pulled back low bun and classic finger waves, she accessorised it with beautiful yellow diamond drop earrings and elegant diamond finger rings. Wanna see Pippa, the poppy fairy – IRL? 👇
#5. Angela Bassett
#4. Andra Day
#3. Margot Robbie
Just in: Margot’s red-carpet style is here! The first thought that crossed our mind – she woke up like this. And made us swoon with her look, of course. With her custom gunmetal Chanel gown with bountiful floral work in metallic lace, her style was effortless, chic and feminine, wrapped up like a candy wrapper. She accessorised it with a Chanel bag, diamond jewellery as subtle additions that completed the look. BRB, looking for a metallic floral outfit.
#2. Carey Mulligan
Our #2 on the list, Carey Mulligan, went Viva le Vida in all its grandeur! With a gold sequin outfit with a bandeau top and a billowy full skirt, the combination was subtle yet chic. Vibing with a modern yet retro touch, it was the ideal red-carpet addition. Pairing it with subtle jewellery and hair tied back, who said you couldn’t go gold and bold?
#1. Zendaya
Best Dressed Special Mentions for Oscar 2021
Viola Davis
Viola Davis looked phenomenal in Alexander McQueen’s curve-hugging white gown. The cutout bodice design added a subtle lace play to the chiffon gathered skirt that was ready to flow in the wind – It was the light Summer aura that was dazzling us all.
Laura Pausini
If we were to mention, who did the classics best? It would be Laura Pausini. In a classic black off-the-shoulder gown, her outfit was subtle and ever-glowing. And how can we forget, it also had pockets! Now THAT’s a wow comfy-cool vibe we can finally get aboard on.
Halle Berry
Halle Berry arrived like a butterfly too! Floating in her soft purple Christian Louboutin gown, she was all about standing out on the red carpet. Flaunting the big bow on the front, a new bob cut hairstyle and super minimal jewellery, it was quite a fashion statement to adore.
Maria Bakalova
Maria Bakalova gave us a magical look for this very magical red carpet! Adorning a white Louis Vuitton ‘fairy tale meets ballet’ gown, Maria Bakalova was floating on the red carpet, and with all the swirl and twirl too! Reminding us of whipped cream, this tulle-full of dress was the definition of artful fun. Accessorising her outfit with beautiful diamond jewellery, it was a white affair to remember.
