Little flounce, little carefree…Bubbly is the new Romantic this Autumn-Winter 20’21! Are you ready to tulle-up the winters?!
This Autumn-Winter 2020/21, is bringing bubbly energy with it!! The fun, cheerful, and romantic trend of Autumn Winter is here – and in all the colour shades you need. Mostly famous on red carpets and award functions, this trend has now stepped down onto the ramps and streets as well! With sheer layerings, a lot of volumes, and OTT drama, it definitely is THE time to embrace the red carpet tulle vibe.
Flounce & Tulle For-Ever!
Ramps and runways were overflowing with the monochrome bubbles and playful lightness of shades and textiles. With brilliant use of tulle on see-through gowns, layers, textures, and metallic touches plus accompanying net veils, Rodarte nailed the organic idea of tulle just right. The same kinda touch work was seen with Ralph and Russo too. Whereas the subtle work of tulle on toned-down gown dresses by Oscar de la Renta did win hearts!
While on one side, Alberta Ferretti’s wavy tulles, this season had all the dramatic shades one needs. Prada’s chic print play was commendable, and on another end, Balmain’s show of flounce on blazer look was an unmissed treat! The subtle tulle touch work by Fendi got the cute vibe on point!
Just when you thought of it as enough flounce, Molly Goddard and Giambattista Valli’s OTT had savouring stories to tell. The extra-large bubbled and flounced-up dresses…Yep! Desserts!
Tulle Me Up!
With a trend oh-so-chic, the celebs took no time to bubble it up! While Gal Gadot, Arizona Muse, Jennifer Lopez, and Sarah Michelle were seen floating on the red carpet, Alicia Keys, Lily James, and Tracee Ellis Ross were all about being comfy with a whole lotta pizazz. Hikari, Jin Chen, and Leonie Hanne had a completely casual take on tulle – very trend-spiring!
Talking about the homefront, wintery bubbles were seen no less! While Hina Khan’s bubbly shoulders had a playful vibe, Karishma Tanna and Mithila Palkar’s flounced-up yet steamy looks took the bold cut. On one side, Bhumi Pednekar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were like floating angels on red carpets. And on the other, Kriti Kharbanda and Hansika Motwani’s tulle drama was bold, chic, and playful, all-at-once!
