A new pastel shade became a part of the ramps and runways in all it’s cheerful and soothing tones this season – Lilac. This colour trend was booming across social media and as a part of every industry too! Florence by Mills, the makeup and skincare brand by Milly Bobby Brown, is heavily influenced by this dreamy shade – And there’s absolutely no one who isn’t loving it!
The Cool of the Pastel Hue
While the colour trend was making everyone dance to its tune, the ramps were completely on-board to leisure with Lilac, too! While Max Mara was playing around with Bermuda suits & sheath dresses for the summer, Lilac was the colour theme.
Loewe, on the other hand, was colour-blocking with prints! Think lace, feminine additions and whatnots. There was one for all.

Nailing the ultimate summer vibe, it was a blissful affair. If Jacquemus was about casual, Area was all about exploring the party way. From bow ties, metallic bathing suits and pleated skirts, there was a disco vibe spread across.
Cynthia Rowley’s collection showcased comfy and effortless outfits while Paul and Joe had a more evening ambience following the Lilac hue. Nina Ricci & Emilia Wickstead added on textures while Prabal Gurung and Preen had an uber-feminine feel to the collection from a workwear point of view. Talk about a more versatile colour trend.

After all the ramp love, it was time for some red carpet love! And the celebs definitely, DEFINITELY couldn’t have enough! From Cara Delelevingne, Alicia Keys, Renee Zellweger, Rachel Brosnahan to Karen Gillian, Victoria Beckham and Emilia Clarke, all that glittered was Lilac!
