SS19: Add the Beige Shade to Your Gold! #Fridayrefresh

After all the colour rage that was Spring Summer 2019, it was time to get down to Earth with the new colour trend of the season – Beige!

While Dior had us gawking at the ballet dancers and the flower petals, the serene colour palette wasn’t far behind. Taking inspiration from all shades beige, there was a lot to take in (and add on) from the show. From pleated skirts, sheer dresses to off-shoulder tops and monochrome pantsuits, the collection had a bit for all occasions and everybody.

Showing off the subdued yet sophisticated colour trend of the season, beige, tan, soybean, pale khaki, cream tan and caramel were some of the shades prominently seen on the ramps. This season the trend was not just about going head-to-toe but also pairing up different shades together. After the print and the pastel mania, there’s surely a new colour palette to drool over.

Chanel too brought out the beach-side clothing with prints, lace and even fringe! Talk about a versatile colour and here’s the Sand shade to take you up on that challenge.
