AW 20/21: Feelin’ Fuchsia #TrendAlert

We’re in a Fuchsia state of mind this Autumn-Winter 2020/21 and there’s no stopping this takeover! So are you ready to bold it up?!

Winter just got a whole lot fearless with a vibrant Pink-Purple add-on that has us swooning. While AW is the season of rainy days, cloudy skies and a bunch of neutrals, there was a surprise all set to explode. The staples of the seasons saw a more confident, mature and a passion-for-pink style statement that had the runways, well, painted in Pink.

Top to Fuchsia

Creating new winter energy, Fuchsia took over all the ramps and runways in a head-to-toe, silky and gown formats. From pleated gowns, floor-length shirt dresses and a flamboyant textured green pantsuit pair up, Halpern checked for the tick boxes. Shrimps, on the other hand, took a more 1930s route with cowl necklines, flared dresses and yes, pearl necklaces. Alejandra Alonso Rojas’s collection added the winter vibe with knitted sweaters, high necks and silk fabrics too.

And if you thought that this trend couldn’t get more versatile, Christian Siriano added metallic embellishments, capes, tulles and a river of Fuchsia to his collection. Talk about abstract meet Fuchsia! Bottega Veneta went with fringes, while Oscar de la Renta was about drapings and all things feminine. Alberta Ferretti was all set to blow our minds, with Fuchsia paired up with complementary colours and boots for winter!

Eudon Choi added the casual to Fuchsia while Pamela Roland had all the red carpet vibes. Nina Ricci and Carolina Herrera were showcasing their love for pantsuits, while Valentino added Fuchsia to an all-day-every-day vibe.

Big Fuchsia Energy

After Fuchsia turned every eye on the runways, the celebs too were quick to pick it up! From Catherine O’Hara picking out fruits to Tracee Ellis Ross adding Fuchsia for pretty much everything, the love for the hue was quite evident. Winnie Harlow, Zendaya, Regina King, Debra Messing, Ariel Winter and Doja Cat were some of the other celebs going head-to-toe in Fuchsia.

On the home front, too, the Fuchsia shade was all over. From Katrina Kaif’s activewear to Kareena Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez’s casual attires, there was Fuchsia for all. One of our favourites – Nora Fatehi’s super cool beach vibe that has us in goosebumps. Kriti Sanon’s red carpet affair, Tara Sutaria’s very dance outfit and Radhika Madan’s Pink love were all vibing to this love affair.

Somewhere between Pink and Purple, Fuchsia was love at first sight! Taking the passionate & powerful path of this colour trend, we’ve created a range in gold with Fuchsia enamel work on structured motifs. Calling all caz-wear, this is THE colour play you’ve been missing.
